Rogue Anti-Spyware Smart Anti-Spyware er med andre ord falsk Anti-Spyware programvare. Hvis en bruker tar imot anbefalingene, er det virkelig potensiale for brukeren til å fjerne deres anti-virus og anti-spyware programmer. Det kan også levere ondsinnet kode direkte til brukerens maskinen og installere deres egen spyware.
